Budapest, in Hungary, is a city i’ve been lucky to visit twice in the past few years. It’s a city that’s easy to walk around, is safe both day and night and also has an excellent transport system of trams and metro’s to help you see the sights.

The city has a number of historic areas and there is plenty to see from museums, statues, street art plus areas related to the second world war and the post war era.

With the Danube separating the cities of Buda and Pest, once side has the castle and armoury, whilst the other has the parliament building and the bustling bars and restaurants.
