It’s rare to get good cloud formations over the Fens in the Winter unless there is a rainstorm or snowstorm on it’s way in.

Driving home tonight I noticed it was a great Winter sunset, with few clouds and the sky a wonderful orange colour. I drove out towards the Fens with a view of pulling over to get a photo of the sunset.

As I got out the the Fens I noticed a storm coming in from the East – so on one side I had a clearish sky with the sunset, and on the other side I had the inbound storm clouds.

Managed to get  few good photos, considering I didn’t have my camera with me (was on the way home from the gym at the time), and so had to rely on my trusty Google Pixel2 phone and it’s inbuilt camera.

With the sun dipping behind the horizon I was also able to use the roof of my car in one of the photos to reflect the clouds and sunset.
