They call Ely Cathedral the Ship of the Fens. Built on a hill overlooking the flat Fens below it, the Cathedral is visible for miles around.

The Cathedral has featured in many photos, and was also on the cover of Pink Floyd’s “The Division Bell” album.

I’ve yet to venture inside the Cathedral, but it was great to photograph the outside in July 2017 as the sun was setting, giving the cathedral an orange glow. It’s also one of the first times I actively thought about using reflections in shots.
